The Original Conservation Rooflight

The Conservation Rooflight is the original low-profile skylight, combining the highest modern performance standards with an authentic traditional appearance.

Inspired by the Victorian cast iron rooflights, this classic design incorporates all the signature features down to the finest of details, redesigned to comply with all relevant building regulations of today. With full conformity marking to European standards, our rooflights are also found in properties within the Republic of Ireland and further into Europe.

Favoured by English Heritage, the National Trust and Conservation Officers, The Conservation Rooflight is known to grace some of the country’s most prestigious buildings and private residences.

Flashing Kits

Conservation Rooflight installed with a flashing kit

To truly protect our nation’s heritage buildings, the details around the installation are just as important as the rooflight itself. This may mean, it may be more appropriate to use lead soakers around the jambs of the rooflight for absolutely authenticity.

In situations where this level of detail is not essential, our flashing kit options will provide you with everything you need for a successful installation. Where appropriate, code 4 lead is supplied for the cill flashing and soakers.
The head flashing is a lead-free waterproof flashing material. Each of our three available options have been tailored through our years of experience in achieving the optimum installation process no matter the site circumstances.

Pleated Blinds

Pleated blinds, the most popular and versatile style, can either be manually operated or motorised with home automation options. Where an array of rooflights are installed in the same space, multiple blinds can be connected and controlled remotely for convenience, using concealed motors. A pole extension is also available, for roof windows higher up and just out of reach.

When it comes to fabric choices, an extensive range of warm and cool tones have been carefully selected to complement the interiors of any home. All colour choices are available in light-filtering and black-out fabric.

The slim pleats provide a uniquely elegant finish, achieving a clean and smooth aesthetic. The shading offers a truly customised fit for a smart and seamless result.

Blinds for Residential & Commercial Projects

For larger commercial projects, mains-powered, battery or solar-powered motors are concealed for a smart and seamless finish. Chain, gear crank and spring-loaded operation options provide schools, offices, care homes and hotels with convenient solutions.

The collection of fabrics and colours, from light-filtering to black-out, offers you full control over the amount of light and heat entering the space. Using a zip channel and fabric tension system (FTS), the fabric is guided to retract smoothly and evenly.

For residential projects, pleated blinds offer a truly versatile solution for your rooflights, windows and doors. With matching fabrics for all glazing and a vast range of light-filtering tones to choose from, your shading solution can be crafted to complement your interior design.

Pleated blinds offer ease of operation, available in both manual and automated configurations. The frames can be powder coated in any RAL colour, ensuring a cohesive appearance with your window or door frames. Additionally, you have the option to incorporate soft furnishings such as Roman blinds into your shading ensemble.
